Today at Irakli citizens gathered at the spot to protest for the ongoing construction despite the order of the Burgas Regional Inspectorate to halt construction. A group of representatives of land owners from the region was also at the spot in defence of the construction!! Seems the results of today's action is both sides agreed there is a need for dialogue. The land owners are not familiar with Natura 2000 requirements, therefore they are convinced that the restriction to construction is aimed to damage their rights.
Light needs to shine in all dark corners -
- light in the form of information campaign on Natura2000,
- light to keep push on autorities to perform their duties
- ligh to refrain developers from constructicon in the dark
